Areola/Nipple
Permanent cosmetics is not just limited to the face ,and Zoe is medically trained and skilled to optically recreate areolas(nipples) with the clever use of pigments.
Sometimes following on from mastectomy and reconstructive surgery the illusion of a nipple will be requested to match up with an existing areola, alternatively again following on from surgery no nipple may be present at all, and the use of carefully chosen pigments can give the very realistic 3D appearance of a real areola.
Sometimes nature has just provided small or very pale areolas, this technique can redefine and change the size and colour of the client's existing natural areolas. It is suitable for both male and female clients.
M.C.A (Multiprennanic Collagen Actuation) Or "Dry Needling"
This is a process using the same machine and needles as permanent cosmetics but without the insertion of pigments. The technique is referred to as M.C.A or Dry Needling and is a process that helps to soften scars/stretch marks/wrinkles by utilising the body's own defences. Having been used as a successful treatment in the U.S for many years this technique is gaining popularity as a natural therapy here in the U.K.
A full consultation is necessary before you commence this treatment to check on the suitability of the area to be treated.
If suitable, the area is anaesthetised by use of a topical cream, and the dry needle slightly penetrates the area causing the brain to recognise a trauma and produce collagen, directing it to the area and plumping it up.
As this is a natural process, the results vary from individual to individual and according to the depth of their problem area, but most people see noticeable and dramatic results after the first treatment and are thrilled with the difference.
It is not a one off treatment and normally a recommendation of 2-3 sessions would be advised with a gap of 4-6 weeks between treatments.
Immediately after the procedure the area which has been treated will resemble cat scratches....but this normally diminishes between 5-7 days. After care balm will be given with instructions and although it is preferable not to use make up as the area is healing, the use of mineral make up is permitted one day after treatment.
Corrective Procedures for Body Tattoos and Permanent Cosmetics
Zoe uses the unique rejuvi system removal method which is an excellent alternative to surgical or laser removal and is effective on ink body tattoos and whereby her clients have been dissatisfied by permanent cosmetics performed by another technician.
The rejuvi system is a unique fluid which chemically extracts the colour from the skin, is non colour selective and is relatively pain free and less expensive than the alternatives.
The amount of treatments required will vary on the size and area to be treated, normally just one application is required in the removal of permanent cosmetics, but anything between 3-7 treatments for body tattoos is normal. 2 square inches of tattoo would normally count as a 30 minute treatment.
Immediately after the treatment the area will look red in appearance , over the course of about a week the area will crust and a scab will form to reveal the new skin underneath. Please note that redness can last for several weeks in treated areas.
